We have arrived
Even with the cloudy skies today I am very aware of the full moon that blessed us not even twenty four hours ago, and ya know what, her power is still here with us. Thank you Mother Moon for reaching fullness, for sharing your energy and for setting the stage for us to accept our greatest selves, once again.


The swag of Sag
This full moon in Sagittarius, although it may at first seem a portal to determination, project success, and clarity, at second look is rooted in the true essence of its planetary ruler Jupiter.

Blessings and expansion
Father Jupiter's benevolence is unparalleled and seems to come at the exact moment when perhaps we may be giving up.  This period for us all is about justice, equality, earned blessings, plenty and the removal of negativity.  Expand that celestial horizon and see that entire oceans will move.  In the center of this full moon lays the answer to our questions, the ease of our nervousness, and the gifts we need even before we know it.  All I am going to say is be prepared to say thank you a lot over the next few says while the full moon power lays at our feet.  Thank you! I just said my first one.

All things are equal
My own focus this full moon is about the balance that exists between positive and negative. When I can look at an event or a knowing just as it is, then I will benefit far greater from its place in my life.  Although I intermittently practice this balance, for me the full moon gives me leagues of space to exercise my balance muscle.  Full moon time makes me grateful, sometimes emotional and always in a state of learning.

Taurus time
This morning we entered the Taurus lunar cycle. Welcome, we have lots to do and this is the PERFECT time to get it done.  Taurus, which is Venus ruled, is the best time to take on the triple P's: Perseverance, Patience, and Practicality.   This cycle should be about taking action, moving on our dreams, and putting in the necessary work to continue to evolve.  Since Taurus is an Earth Sign we need to find solace in grounding ourselves around what we will undertake.

A serpent's gift
Snakes. That's right the descendent of the mighty serpent.  In the image above what do you notice? Is it the color, the coiled body, the eyes or the skin?  And what feelings come to mind: fear, intrigue, excitement, or amazement? The snake/serpent is one of the most power symbols of the concept of Transmutation, something that is so timely during the Taurus lunar cycle.

Know the cycle
What is transmutation? Well, transmutation is the ability to intake something (negative or positive), ingest it, integrate it, and then change it into whatever you need at that time.  Simply explained yes but, much harder to put into practice.  With the power of this lunar cycle I challenge us to transmute the small things in our lives like traffic, tardiness, a spill on our clothes or the many other things that plague us daily.  Taurus is here to support and amplify our power to transmute. All we need to do is take that first, small step.  If we begin with the smaller things as the cycle progresses we can take on bigger more challenging occurrences in our lives in order to transmute as well. We have to start someplace and this is as benevolent a time as any.

GPSing myself
My personal work this cycle will be around knowing exactly where I am in the transmutation cycle whether it be intake, ingestion, integration, or transmutation.  I do understand the concept and have reaped the great benefits of practicing it, but I need to continue doing it. And for me I can be more Macro aligned than Micro, so my use of transmutation with the little things will greatly improve some of my day to day mishaps.  I am ready, are you?

Just do it

Spring has sprung
I am getting chills just thinking about all that is happening.  So the beautiful season of Spring has just peaked her head in the Northern Hemisphere and we are all the greater for it.
March 20th was the Spring Equinox on the Earth based Wheel of the Year and represents a time when we are clearing, planning, planting, and brewing.  Now is the time of activity, sunshine and wind. Since we have been more reclusive and contemplative in the Winter season, now the sun is ready to shine on our faces, are we ready?

Share and share alike
This Spring I say let's share, in a way that maybe we haven't before.  Not sharing in the basic mode of giving of what you have to another. Sharing in a larger, more meta way.  Now that our days are longer and our nights are shorter, let's illuminate our love and compassion as we connect to other people,

places, objects, beings, and nature.  We should give often and frequently.  Please understand that this is not about material giving this is about giving pieces of ourselves in small and large ways.  Remember when we share we are giving to ourselves through others.  Think about that one for a moment.

Let them see it all
My mission this Spring is to be more open to sharing my successes. As one raised as an only child and a person whose core was built on self sufficiency I now know that to evolve I need to embrace the communality of sharing my experiences with others.  Now I am not going to go hog wild and put everything that happens up on social media (cause there are enough folks in that lane), but I am going to be more mindful about letting folks tap me on the back and say "well done" cause I am convinced that is the universe speaking through them and am I sooooo arrogant as to not welcome the voice of the universe? No, I am not.

It's a Sheep
This evening marks a new beginning for us.  No, not just a new lunar cycle, but rather the start of a new Lunar Year.  We have 13 more new moons where we shall live our best lives.  This particular Lunar Year (the eighth sign of the Chinese Zodiac) has come to us as the
Year of the Green Wood Sheep.  More than just an image or a symbol, the Sheep sets the stage for us in fantastic ways.

What we get
The Sheep, an animal we think we know, has many traits that we can utilize this Lunar Year.  Dearest Sheep gives to us kindness and compassion, but do not go overboard and become too passive cause that is not a good use of its energy.  We will find it easier this Lunar Year to take the high road and rise above our challenges, rather than battle them.  Those fabled horns of the Sheep will amplify our imagination, but only if we possess clear vision and are willing to put forth the efforts to make things shine through.  This is a time of great leaps, not the thought of it, but the doing of it.  Sheep has shown us that we don't need much space to jump, just the determination.  And one last thought from the Sheep is to take part in groups or teams.   Collaboration will hold lots of manifestation for us, this is not the year to DO IT ON OUR OWN.

Wooded blessings
Before I forget, the significance of the words Green and Wood mean that much of our focus will be on grounding and centering ourselves in a very Earth based space.   There will be stability, prosperity, nature, renewal and the ability for things to become evergreen in our lives, if we are open and willing to work towards it. Surely these are trajectories we can all use.

My map for the year
My Sheep magic will come in the form of staying my course on my spiritual and personal paths.  There are so many things that can come and breeze by me, but I must keep stepping, leaping when called for, and JUST DO IT.  No more talking, planning or assessing.  2015 is a year of definitive action for me.  Looking forward to it, but also knowing rest and renewal has to be couched in there as well.

A final good bye
As we enter the home stretch of this cycle, the waning phase, I want to put us all on notice that we are not just entering the waning phase, but we are entering the final waning phase of this lunar year. That's right, we have almost come to the end of these thirteen moons and soon (like next week) we will enter another lunar year. So, there's no time like the present to do some serious and necessary weeding in our lives and in our spirits.

Recipe for release
While researching the phase it occurred to me that even before we make any changes we have to 1) pull up what truly needs to be discarded, 2) destroy whatever comes up, 3) extract it totally, and 4) plant what we would like in it's place. If this sounds familiar that's because this is essentially what farmers do and some of their tasks will begin soon as well.  Be intentional about weeding and planting yourself during this ending phase.  Although the work we do at this time may not seem to yield results, please know that all magic at this time is potent and will be amplified by the fact that this is the last waning phase in this lunar year. Go head, plant your future now.

Truly see
My waning phase is about seeing what has already been released. There are times when I will not recognize the process because the steps are not overt or obtuse, well this waning phase is about discarding that kind of thinking. My energy has to be about noticing, especially the miniscule.  Good-bye to my non-believer.

Dream your dreams
As the sun grows brighter in the northern hemisphere and we eek our way out of winter time we get a fabulous reminder of why we are only part of a greater whole.  The idealist and dreamy time of Aquarius is now upon us and it's just in time to save us from our own dark depths.  For those of us who feel like making our dreams come true is an uphill battle that's part of a long road there is a gift and this gift is one simple - Blessing.

Blessings calling
Aquarius is ruled by the planet Uranus and we can take that originality and stability in chaos energy and focus it just how we want it. I say let's bring into our reality the notion that blessings have and continue to be bestowed upon. Blessings that are as small as a bird singing a beautiful song or a blessing as large as moving one step closer to a life goal.  Both are recognition that yes our guides are hearing, and yes they give to us, but more importantly yes, our thoughts, our prayers, our wishes have been heard. Now to know we are heard and to have the exact moment when it may manifest is not quite the same thing. Someplace in all of that we have to exercise patience, gratitude and just plain ole common sense.  All things in good time is stated often cause it's true.

Wave my wand
This particular cycle for me is often like having a magic wand. I think it, I build on it, then POOF it manifests, almost with me doing very little of the work or at least that's what it seems like this time of the year.  Since this is the last lunar cycle before the Lunar New Year I think my jubilance springs from a place of, YAH, I have made it and WOW, there is more to come. Mainly I believe I am able to look back and reflect on the last 12 lunar cycles and know I have evolved, I have loved, I have been loved, I have experienced, and hopefully I have made a difference in lives and in nature.

Mercury Retrogrades 2015

For later on this month, Mercury is not playing.  January dates and the rest for this year.   Please use this heads up in order to minimize the possible tail spin or should I say tail chasing that can ensue while the retrograde is strongest.

The planet mercury will go into a retrograde period three times because the way the planet is supposed to move and what we see moving are different actions.  When this happens, all forms of communication are off kilter.  To say the least. snail mail, email, cell phone, home phone, speaking to others, speaking to yourself, and don't even think of signing a contract or wonder why negotiations are not going well...

For me, a person who's ruling planet is Mercury, I can only hope that my connection to the planet links me in ways that allow me to embrace it's energy, albeit contrary sometimes.  I will mark these dates and heed it's presence in my calendar year.  Hoping that you doing the same will glean some positively beautiful experiences.  

The retrogrades this year are three times the opportunity to show ourselves, ya know what, we can do this.  Even as that God of Communication does his usual trickery, we can move forward, albeit at a totally different speed.  Take a look below at the days and times when the retrograde turns and when it goes direct again.  Also be sure to notice the planets and remember retrogrades can be felt up to seven days before its onset and sometimes seven days after it goes direct.  Good Luck!
