Feeling a bit different these days? You should cause we have sauntered into the Sagittarius lunar cycle and the energy shift has been noticeable.  And at this exact moment the moon has begun to grow (wax) towards its full self.  Waxing moon time is ripe for endeavors related to short term projects or immediate changes to circumstances. Even with the cloudy skies today I am very aware of the full moon that blessed us not even twenty four hours ago, and ya know what, her power is still here with us. Thank you Mother Moon for reaching fullness, for sharing your energy and for setting the stage for us to accept our greatest selves, once again.

This full moon in Sagittarius, although it may at first seem a portal to determination, project success, and clarity, at second look is rooted in the true essence of its planetary ruler Jupiter.

Blessings and expansion
Father Jupiter's benevolence is unparalleled and seems to come at the exact moment when perhaps we may be giving up.  This period for us all is about justice, equality, earned blessings, plenty and the removal of negativity.  Expand that celestial horizon and see that entire oceans will move.  In the center of this full moon lays the answer to our questions, the ease of our nervousness, and the gifts we need even before we know it.  All I am going to say is be prepared to say thank you a lot over the next few says while the full moon power lays at our feet.  Thank you! All things are equal
My own focus this full moon is about the balance that exists between positive and negative. When I can look at an event or a knowing just as it is, then I will benefit far greater from its place in my life.  Although I intermittently practice this balance, for me the full moon gives me leagues of space to exercise my balance muscle.  Full moon time makes me grateful, sometimes emotional and always in a state of learning.

Dawning of a new moon
This morning at approx 7:32am EST the moon entered the sign of Sagittarius and we have begun yet another lunar cycle.  So we all know what that means; RESET! We get a chance to do even more.  The new moon represents a time in the cycle when we are reflecting, setting intentions and beginning new endeavors.  Take full advantage of this time.  Slow it down, do less and listen more.   All of your guides have messages that you can really use this cycle, but at this, the starting point, we have to be open, be quiet, and be receptive.

The gift of being still
This Sagittarius cycle is cloaked in energy that on the surface seems to emulate Higher Guidance, Intuition, Travel, and Generosity. I will take my seat
My personal path this cycle will be a challenge for I have some lifestyle changes that have to be made, but instead of "kirking" out I am going to use the Jupiter energy to fortify myself and revel in the stillness I am entering.  When all else fails for me this cycle (and with holidays and cold coming that is probably inevitable) I am going to be patient, stop all of my movement and just listen.

Magic makers wanted!

Here goes the sun
With the sun drawing smaller and the moon spending more time in the sky it is one of the best times to take it outside the normal that we know.  We have now properly entered the Sagittarius Lunar Cycle earlier this week and this cycle can be about a heightened sense of determination, an increase of profit making endeavors, and last but not least earth shattering revelations.   I propose to all of us, let's not stop there.  Yes, all of those concepts are great focal points, but right now we are being offered boons like never before.

Open is the way
Although it has taken me time to post this blog I am glad I listen to spirit and do as I am told some time without questioning.  Just this morning as I walked I noticed the onset of winter and I was happy, giddy and grateful in the most surprising ways.  For me I attribute this to the All Knowing Father planet Jupiter, who rules over Sagittarius' time.  Instead of being down about the slight chill and misty rain that came down as I walked I gleefully (yes, I did say gleefully) took each step and my heart beamed as small and large leaves whisked passed me.  So be open today and all the days left of this Sagittarius cycle for the results will be astounding, if we let them.  And that leads me on to my next point.

Revelations of magic
So what I have been realizing over the first few days of this cycle is that I am the sorceress that directs, guides, and crafts all that is in my life.  Yes on a surface level I have known that for sometime, but really with all that has occurred in my life over this last season I know it now like I never have before and I tell ya it's pretty amazing.  I want to yell from the tallest mountain "We are our own magicians and we craft the lives we want".  I am clear my eagle eye vision of this would not have occurred during any other time than when Jupiter was bestowing and bowing to us all.

 Firstly, the fullness
Can you feel it? Did you see it? This morning at about 7:11am (EST) the moon reached it's fullness, in Sagittarius no less. This time of the lunar cycle is great for things to bubble over.  Now remember, that can be both positive or negative.  So, I say to us all, accept that extra energy we feel.  Don't shy away from the increased emotionality that is hovering over us. As I stated above this is a Sagittarius Full Moon, which means that the planet ruling this Full Moon is Jupiter, that benevolent, all knowing, and amazingly royal planet.  Look for positive surprises over the next few days or so.  Jupiter is known as a bestower of gifts, sometimes gifts that we thought were long forgotten about. 

Now focus that energy inward
To add spice to all of this right before that moon peaked this morning a lunar eclipse occurred. And remember eclipses are the ability to manifest our wants and desires more than other times of year.  This specific eclipse being Lunar means we must pay more attention to our inner, deeper self.  Full Moon lunar eclipse is a perfect time to just dialogue with the inner self. Unlike the solar eclipse, the power of the moon naturally beckons us to make changes to our inner world, our emotions and our self state.

Receiving gives me completion
My personal goal this Full Moon is to be open and receptive to all the things the universe has for me.  It's taken me this long in life, and believe me I don't always get it right, but I know that in order to fully embrace the universal principles I must receive.  So, I am challenging all that I think, all that I do, all that I say and basically all that I am to simply receive.  Seems easy, right? Well I know I am up to the task. During this Full Moon I am going to ask, give myself permission to be in need, and tell the mother spirits I am worthy of both portions of the universal equation of give and take.

Happy Winter Solstice! The 12:30am EST (12-22-11) dawn of Winter Solstice 2011 brings with it so much joy, beauty and possibility.  Firstly for those who may not know Winter Solstice is essentially the longest night and shortest day of the year.  On a more soulful level it represents the coming of the Winter Season and all the gifts that it will bring to us.  It also stands as another line of demarcation for us in our lunar year as we are leaving the Autumn and ushering in a new time of hibernation, snow (in some parts of the Northern Hemisphere), and stillness unlike any other time during the year.

We once again get a chance to change, redo, atone, change paths, and veer towards where we are truly supposed to be.  This year's Solstice peeks out while nestled between multi-layered Scorpio and the gifting Sagittarius, choose wisely your works this solstice these desires will be with you for this entire season, whether you may want them to or not.

Be sure in your own way to mark this event.  Whether it is alone or with someone or some group, do not let another natural spiritual occurrence pass you by without stopping to acknowledge, being grateful and drawing the gifts it has for you.  Below I provide a few elements to have around, but be moved to bring this solstice in the way you need to for only you truly know how to make that happen.  Notice these elements are awfully familiar, might be just an inkling of what we do for the Christian Christmas holiday celebration, LOL!

Where are we now?

Although it seems like we were just at this place, we find ourselves here again. The dawning of yet another New Moon in this lunar year. Well 28.5 days can be so magical. Okay, let's get right to it. This cycle will be in Sagittarius a bold and brave fire sign that is often associated with determination, profit enhancing projects, and clarity. All of these attributes are great however they are just a scratch on the surface of the true power that can be invoked at this time of the year and that is by the planet Jupiter.

Coming across Kingly Jupiter...

Ruling planet for Sagittarius, Jupiter serves as the ultimate King archetype. And when I say King I mean it in the truest sense of the word, a ruler who is in service to all of us.  I suggest we see Jupiter as the Great Expander of our flexibility.  We have the opportunity to stretch ourselves farther so what are going to do-Contract or Release on into it.  I know releasing can be scary, but if we already know where we are and we may want to move further on our path, what have we got to lose and expanding during a Jupiter ruled New Moon is a "no-brainer".   So push our fears out of our heads, take in a deep fulfilling breath, and STRETCH IT OUT!!!!!

During this time of gifting and blessings I think it may do us all some good to think of our relationship with our reputation. Not reputation in the high school popularity way, but rather the deeper understanding of how and why we project what we project to the outside world. Is there a disconnect in who we are and who we are perceived as? Do we need to boost up our "self-love" image? I know, who really wants to deal with this, but reputation is perfect for a time such as this. Below are some thoughts we can ask ourselves about our reputations. I know when I saw these questions, some of them did make me squirm. Remember squirming is a good thing, its shows us where the discomfort is and then allows us to address it.
