The death makes one stronger

If today has been twitchy, frenetic, and full of energy, it's not just your mind, there is a reason.  Today is one of those rarer than rare days when we have not only a Full Moon (in Scorpio), but right after that a Lunar Eclipse, so big waves of motion, life, and movement is probably afoot.

From the moment I awoke this morning til right now I have been over excited, moving at the speed of light (both inside and out), and just basically stoked.  Full Moon time is always a time to innervate - to supply with nerves is the definition of that word, how appropriate-and it has set up as such a natural midpoint in our lunar cycle.  So check in on those intentions set forth just two weeks ago or so.  Be bold and give yourself a grade on how you've done. 

This particular Scorpio Full Moon very well may bring to mind thoughts of self journeying, sexuality or even creativity, but as always we do ourselves so much better to understand that behind the Scorpion is the planetary ruler, Pluto.  Not necessarily one to play with.  Pluto at times seemingly harsh or acute with change does have an overall goal, our eventual evolution.  A pop culture icon of Pluto's gift is "Dr Who" - the hit Sci Fi show from the UK.  Regeneration is heard over and over again throughout the series when the face of the lead character changes, but what exactly can that mean for us here and now. 

I propose we see Pluto as the bearer of not just the normal life-death-rebirth cycle, but rather the higher vibrated life-death-stronger life concept.  So, as hard as things may feel right now, all the work we are doing is setting us up for boons beyond our imagination.  All of this sounds all wonderful, now comes the work.  And that work starts with just a thought, an idea, a first step, a determination.  I am not saying you have to figure it all out right now, but you may want to grab hold of this Plutoian dust to stabilize for what is to come.  I believe knowing I can make it through an obstacle motivates me just as much as getting over that obstacle.

An eclipse means that the three celestial bodies known as the Sun, the Earth, and the Moon are all in perfect alignment, which is a pretty rare event.   In a Lunar eclipse the Earth finds it's self between the Sun and a Full Moon.  During a Lunar eclipse work done is on our inner lives meaning it's all internal work. Below are questions that may add value to any work we do near or on (doing it as close to the time is a powerful step) this Lunar Eclipse.

What root causes have been stopping me?
 

Does anything in my past or ancestral past have a hold on me?

Do I have a good relationship with Karma?

What life patterns am I looking to hit the reset button on?

The time it goes down
Tomorrow at approximately 9:32am EST we will experience a Penumbral Lunar Eclipse, the last eclipse of this year.  And not to be out done, the moon becomes Full stage at 9:46am, minutes later.  Add all this up and we have total opportunity for anything from awesome power to sheer mayhem. 

And what of this eclipse
So first, what does that mean.  Well an eclipse  means that the three celestial bodies known as the Sun, the Earth, and the Moon are all in perfect alignment, which is a pretty rare event.  To line up the three sets of concepts below can really be a line of demarcation in our lives:

Sun-Creativity/Illumination
Moon-Feminine Power/Energy

Earth-Tangibility/Physicality

It's lovingly Lunar
The use of the terms Solar or Lunar before an eclipse has some to do with how they are aligned.  In a Lunar eclipse the Earth finds it's self between the Sun and a Full Moon.  Okay, hope you are still with me, LOL.  Another major difference for a Lunar eclipse is that all the work done is on your inner life meaning it's all internal transformations that can take place. So yes, more time for "our self", but this self time is such a line in the sand time.  I know I am looking forward to it to work out some personal changes I want that just have not been sticking at other times this year.  Below are questions that may add value to any work we do near or on (doing it as close to the time is a powerful step) this Lunar Eclipse.

*Note-It is good to allow at least 2 weeks to really see manifestation in our daily lives of anything we work on during an eclipse.  Remember we are a constant creation, there is no DONE point :)

Gemini breaks through after the eclipse 
Please remember that the Full Moon in Gemini does occur directly following the eclipse so take advantage of that energy as well.  You will have more time to do work because work can be done over the three day period that is the day before, day of, and day after the Full Moon.  So in case you can not mark the eclipse, mark the time when Gemini brings an opening for work on diversity, change, new ventures, scholarship, and research.  A breadth of options, but all sort of in a trajectory that is similar.

Make me know inside me are the answers

 Firstly, the fullness
Can you feel it? Did you see it? This morning at about 7:11am (EST) the moon reached it's fullness, in Sagittarius no less. This time of the lunar cycle is great for things to bubble over.  Now remember, that can be both positive or negative.  So, I say to us all, accept that extra energy we feel.  Don't shy away from the increased emotionality that is hovering over us. As I stated above this is a Sagittarius Full Moon, which means that the planet ruling this Full Moon is Jupiter, that benevolent, all knowing, and amazingly royal planet.  Look for positive surprises over the next few days or so.  Jupiter is known as a bestower of gifts, sometimes gifts that we thought were long forgotten about. 

Now focus that energy inward
To add spice to all of this right before that moon peaked this morning a lunar eclipse occurred. And remember eclipses are the ability to manifest our wants and desires more than other times of year.  This specific eclipse being Lunar means we must pay more attention to our inner, deeper self.  Full Moon lunar eclipse is a perfect time to just dialogue with the inner self. Unlike the solar eclipse, the power of the moon naturally beckons us to make changes to our inner world, our emotions and our self state.

Receiving gives me completion
My personal goal this Full Moon is to be open and receptive to all the things the universe has for me.  It's taken me this long in life, and believe me I don't always get it right, but I know that in order to fully embrace the universal principles I must receive.  So, I am challenging all that I think, all that I do, all that I say and basically all that I am to simply receive.  Seems easy, right? Well I know I am up to the task. During this Full Moon I am going to ask, give myself permission to be in need, and tell the mother spirits I am worthy of both portions of the universal equation of give and take.

What will you do with what you have been given
How about you? What will your focus be? How can you utilize this energy over the next few days, cause this Full Moon will not last long and wait til you see what else is coming in the next day or so.  Totally galactic in nature for sure.  Below are some domains that work best when worked on during a Full Moon.  Also keep in mind that often works done around this time of the cycle can be more ritualized--in whatever way works for you.

The seed that becomes the Rose

As the winter draws near, as the light of day recedes and as the "hibernative" powers of this time of year begin to overtake us, I offer us this.  In all of this there can stand a Winter Rose, that beautifully brave and blossoming flora that opens up when all the other petals are closed or fallen.  Are you that winter rose? Am I? Well with the Mother like energy of a Full Moon at our doorsteps we all can become that Winter Rose.  The Full Moon gives us the opportunity to extend to ourselves, the nurturing, love, compassion, and tenderness we freely share with others, now it's our turn.  We should be taking advantage of this enormous amount of night light that the universe is giving to us over the next 2-3 days.

 A Mother Moon gives way to more of ourselves

This particular Full Moon (in Gemini & Mercury ruled-don't worry it's all good keep reading) is doubly powerful because it dawns just as a Lunar Eclipse has occurred.  The eclipse offers us more ability to manifest our wants and desires than other times of year.  This specific eclipse being Lunar means we must pay more attention to our inner, deeper self.  Now is not the time for conjuring up things outside ourselves, but totally the time to work on issues, wishes or purposes inside ourselves.  So take this olive branch the universe has offered us before the end of this calendar and do the work, plain and simple.

Being just who I am, un-apologetically

My personal meditation throughout this Full Moon and as the eclipse is available is to clearly be who I am and walk my path with my head held high even if others around me might not recognize my path or quite understand it.  It's one thing to boldly be one's self when all approve and cosign, but it's another matter altogether to be that same proud being when you are charting a new course for yourself and those around you.  In all of this I am asking for strength, courage, love, patience, and fun, LOL!

The powering of my power; is it overpowering?

Power is settling all around us at this very moment. We are near to the fullness of the moon, but before that magic we will be blessed with a lunar eclipse that is surely already doing somersaults in our lives. Let me try to lay things out so we all can "get our houses in order"-so to speak :)

Lunar Eclipse

Full Moon lunar eclipse is a perfect time to just dialogue with the inner self. Unlike the solar eclipse, the power of the moon naturally beckons us to make changes to our inner world, our emotions and our self state. Not only can you check in during this lunar cycle, but really check in on yourself over the last half year, year, half decade or decades. Are you really the person you want to be? If not how can you make that a reality? Answers to these and any other thought provoking questions come from taking the time to ask. That is all it takes. That and a willingness to honestly see who you are.

Full Moon

A Full Moon is a peak time to work power, and not power in an external sense, but power internally, a place we shy away from for various reasons. Full Moons can be seen as Ripeness. During Full Moons there is increase in all sorts of energies and things occurring. We have often heard folklore tell of the “wildness” of Full Moons, well I propose it is the climaxing of the cycle, so get ready.... And what a beautiful climax it should be for us all this time. As we make our way to the midpoint of this Gemini Lunar Cycle, we must pause to recognize the royalty, omnipotence, and force of this Sagittarius Full Moon. And since Jupiter rules Sagittarius, the regal theme is throughout this full moon. During this time of gifting and blessings I think it may do us all some good to think of our relationship with our reputation. Not reputation in the high school popularity way, but rather the deeper understanding of how and why we project what we project to the outside world. Is there a disconnect in who we are and who we are perceived as? Do we need to boost up our "self-love" image? I know, who really wants to deal with this, but reputation is perfect for a time such as this. Below are some thoughts we can ask ourselves about our reputations. I know when I saw these questions, some of them did make me squirm. Remember squirming is a good thing, its shows us where the discomfort is and then allows us to address it.
