Full not fool

This morning at approximately 1:22am we entered this Full Moon in Taurus. I'm not sure for you, but for me these last 24 hours have been intense and building minute by minute. Now that the moon has reached fullness I know I am exhaling much easier. Full moon time is a good check in time during the lunar cycle. A time of reflection, it is essential we disregard colloquial knowledge about the full moon and rather pull on this strong energy to see where we are, what we have accomplished and what we have yet to do. Three evenings in the sky the moon shows as full but the truth is what we don't see is so much more. Mark this full moon and you will be blueprinting the rest of your lunar cycle.

Venus not Taurus
This November's full moon is in Taurus (the opposite sign of the Libra lunar cycle we are within) and yes you probably think you know the earth based, strong willed, and forceful characteristics that may abound, but I say look beneath that understanding. Taurus, is only that which the planet Venus allows it to be. Venus (Taurus' ruling planet) is not only associated with beauty and love, but this sign is the domain of creativity, bounty, and manifesting ideas into reality. As usual what is best for us lies just beneath what is shiny.

Truth not fiction
I am charging myself to put just one foot in front of the other this full moon. I will be honest about fear, insecurity, and doubt, but only in order to release them. I will no longer entertain thoughts and internal dramas before I even take the next step. Meanwhile as I take each step I will be hopeful and grateful. A small and large task all at one time. I believe I am up to this. Here goes everything!

Autumn has settled into our days, our nights, our weather and our spirits, whether we know it or not. With Autumn comes many changes and right this moment the moon has moved into the sign of Libra, that great equalizer, that great lover, and that great bringer of justice. At this time when the moon is dark or new it is time to clear, reset, commitment and charge ourselves. See the universe is so benevolent that each cycle we get to do it all over again from scratch. New scoreboard, new opportunity for success, a new set of information.

In a time of year when the earth is harvesting and preparing for the coming hibernation I too am doing my works daily, sometimes hour to hour in order to gleen the fruits of my labor soon. For those who read my blog last week many lessons have come up but the main one has been discipline. I know of all things to say, right. Well, I need reminders of this and the commitment that I have to myself, others and this planet that I be my best self because my best self is available to me. So, as mediocre as I would like to be and as complacent as I would like to venture towards, I can not. I will not. I must not. Wanna know why? Because I know better. I've experienced better. Basically, I am better. And, SO ARE YOU! Roads leading to self induced evolution are never easy or simple, but they are the best paths in life for us and they just make journeying so much more interesting in our lifetimes.

So gave a lot of where I am, here is where I let you determine where you are and what you want to focus on over the next 28.5 days where the moon will be in the sign of Venus ruled, Libra. Two becomes one, and one becomes equal?

We have made it full circle, back to the beginning of a new lunar cycle. This New Moon is pregnant with possibility. New Moon time is ripe for setting things into motion. Gather your thoughts and give them to the universe, but be sure to let go and experience, it ALL. This lunar cycle finds us in the dichotomously divine Gemini. Now, while a many frown upon the thought of two personalities, sharing the same energy, I say to all of us, let us have gratitude for energy such as Gemini. Without it we would not have that talkative, witty, social portion of ourselves that the public loves. Gemini is a good time to invoke new employment as well as new endeavors. Ruled by the always surprising Mercury, Gemini is definitely a time for expecting the unexpected.

So...set your intentions. Do the work that needs to be done, but then allow Gemini to work its magic of, BAM, here is what you have been waiting for all your life. It really is just that easy.

My walk over the next cycle will be around the concept equanimity as it pertains to detachment. Can I truly appreciate all that is yin and yang, positive and negative, masculine and feminine and detach? I charge myself to experience life, see it in vibrantly bright colors and not be swayed one way or another, but rather digest the lessons and move forward. Sounds like a piece of cake right? I will be checking in. Luckily, Mercury is due to go direct next weekend, so my self communication should be up and running at its optimum real soon.
